Well, ok buckaroos,
I reckon it’s a real pleasure to be talkin’ to y’all today. As your President, I
just wanted to tip my hat and say thank you for lettin’ me take the reins of
this fine club. Now, I ain’t no songwriter like ol’ Jerry Jeff or songleader like
Jaylon, but I’ll do my darnedest to keep the spirit of Lionism alive and
kickin’.
You know, we’ve done some mighty fine work over the years – helpin’ folks
with their eyes, supportin’ them young’uns in our schools, and even takin’ a
spin on that ornery mechanical bull down at the Angelina County Benefit
Rodeo. I tell ya, some of y’all are natural-born cowboys, and some of us,
well, we make for good laughin’ stock! But that’s the beauty of our club, ain’t it?

We’re a mixed bag of tricks, but when it comes to servin’ our community, there’s nothin’ we won’t do.
